Why this internship? 
Parts Sales Export and Domestic is where commercial reality meets data. Every day we balance profitability, competitiveness, and customer trust across international markets. To strengthen our pricing and sales processes, we’re looking for a student who likes turning data into clear insights and practical recommendations.

What you will work on (high-level) 
You’ll support the development of a more structured, data-driven approach to parts pricing and commercial decision-making. Depending on your interests and study requirements, your scope can include:

  • Pricing & margin analytics: identify margin opportunities and pricing inconsistencies;

  • Segmentation & differentiation: propose pricing strategies by product family, market, region, or lifecycle phase;

  • Market and competitor signals: set up a lightweight approach for benchmarks and tender tracking;

  • Business impact analysis: explore how the electrification of sweeper fleets may shift parts demand and revenue and propose countermeasures;

  • Process improvement: contribute to a clearer pricing workflow (roles, decision logic, supporting tools).

Your responsibilities (examples)

  • Gather, clean, and connect data from SAP / Excel / SQL and external sources;

  • Build insights in Power BI and/or structured analysis reports in Excel;

  • Translate findings into actionable pricing and sales recommendations;

  • Present outcomes to stakeholders (Sales, After Sales, Controlling).

What you will deliver 
Your output will be tailored to your internship/thesis, but may include:

  • A pricing and margin opportunity scan (insights + prioritized actions);

  • A segmentation model and proposal for differentiated pricing rules;

  • A dashboard or reporting package (Power BI/Excel);

  • A short business case quantifying potential impact;

  • A clear final presentation and implementation roadmap;

  • Various data analyses required to aid decision-making.;

  • Market data used to determine the pricing of our various spare parts families.

Who we’re looking for

You are:

  • Analytical and curious, comfortable working with data;

  • Interested in the intersection of commercial strategy + analytics;

  • Able to structure ambiguous problems and communicate clearly;

  • Confident with Excel; familiar with Power BI/SQL is a big plus.

Suitable study backgrounds (HBO/WO)

  • Business Analytics / Data Analytics / (Applied) Data Science;

  • Industrial Engineering & Management / Technical Business Administration;

  • Econometrics / Business Economics / Applied Economics;

  • Supply Chain / Logistics / Operations Management;

  • International Business / Commercial Economics (with strong analytics affinity).
